Obama bus tour adds stops in Johnstown, Penn State, Harrisburg

Obama bus tour adds stops in Johnstown, Penn State, Harrisburg
Barack Obama's "Road to Change" bus tour across Pennsylvania has announced stops in Johnstown on Saturday and Pennsylvania State University and Harrisburg on Sunday.

On Saturday, Mr. Obama will hold a town hall meeting in Johnstown, at 1 p.m. at Greater Johnstown High School. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

The event is free and open to the public but tickets are required. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets may be picked up at the Obama for America Johnstown office, 508 Main St., Johnstown, (814) 535-2008, on Thursday 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, visit www.barackobama.com or call 814-535-2008.

On Sunday, Mr. Obama will hold a "Road to Change" rally on the Old Main Lawn on Penn State's campus in University Park. Gates open at 11:30 a.m.

The rally is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required but an RSVP is strongly encouraged. To RSVP please visit www.barackobama.com. A limited number of "preferred viewing" tickets are available at the Obama for America office, 224 S. Allen St., State College, (814) 867-2689, on Thursday, 6 to 9 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The tickets are also available at Penn State's Hetzel Union Building, Pollock Road, University Park, on Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mr. Obama will also be in Harrisburg on Sunday, but details are not yet available.

1. Lancaster on Monday; West Chester on Wed. on Hardball on MSNBC

He'll be in Lancaster on Monday and West Chester University on Wed. Details are not yet available. Tuesday and Wednesday apparently will be in the Philadelphia area and possibly the Lehigh Valley. They hold information until 48 hours in advance for security reasons.

2. Too bad he's not stopping in Altoona.
It's a depressed area, would be good for him to speak there AND my parents would love to see him. I just posted in another thread they've registered as Democrats for the first time in their lives so they can vote for him. I'll let them know they'll have to drive up the road to State College on Sunday if they want to see him. :hi:
