1. I helped a rehabilitated ex-con register to vote this spring.

The PA primary was the first time he ever voted...he's 62!

2. If you are not in jail, you can vote in PA.

This is the source of much confusion. As noted on the linked source, in PA, anyone over 18 can vote as long as they are not in prison. Excons, people on probation and people on parole can vote.
