This had to be one of the big upsets in 2006 when Altmire took out incumbant Melissa Hart for PA-04. We knew we were going to win a couple of house seats in Pennsylvania but even I was shocked that Hart was one that was going down.

Two years later Hart wants to win back her seat thinking that her loss was a fluke back in 2006. Twelve points says that Altmire is real and meant to stay.

Hart trails Altmire in bid to win seat back
Rep. Jason Altmire, D-McCandless, has a 12-point lead over former Rep. Melissa Hart, the Republican seeking to win back the 4th Congressional District post she lost to Altmire in 2006, according to an independent poll released Tuesday.


Altmire leads Hart of Bradford Woods by 54 percent to 42 percent, according to the Survey USA poll conducted for Roll Call, a newspaper that covers Capitol Hill. The automated poll of about 600 voters has an error factor of about plus or minus 4 percentage points.
