Obama Campaign Needs Places for Stageing Areas & Places for Volunteers to Sleep
I went to one of the many Obama Get Out the Vote Training Sessions tonight. Over 200 people were there.

They are asking people to take a vacation day on Election Day and to register with the campaign with the times you are available.

They are also asking for people to volunteer places to serve as "stageing areas" in every neighborhood. The campaign offices will be too crowded on Election Day, so they are seeking many well distributed locations where volunteers can be based. Ideally, this would be a conference room in an office, but it could also be a large family room or a store.

There also are many volunteers coming from out of state on weekends and around election day. They are asking for additional people to volunteer a bed in their house to house a volunteer. Contact your local Obama office.
