Little Philly-area stray tabby needs a home
Excuse the cat spam but I've been trying via Facebook (no luck) and thought I'd turn to the PA forum to see if anyone knows of a good warm home in the Philly area for a little tabby.

He has been hanging around our apartment complex since Christmas. We feed him, and the new tenant across the way lets him spend the night. The new landlady is enforcing the strict "NO PETS" clause, and he can't keep him.

On the nights the guy across the way is out, the cat is stuck in the cold.

Anyway, send me a message if you know of anyone who would like a friendly, vocal little pal.

1. I would love to, but we just recently took in two (more) strays. My wife would kill me.
Add in the fact that one of our newbies does not take well to newcomers (he bites) and I am not real hopeful.

I will ask around, though, since so many have given us cats they could no longer care for.

Keep me posted.

2. Will keep this thread updated
Not sure of his background, but he seems far more tame than feral, so I assume he used to be someone's pet.

He's a really friendly, really vocal little guy.

Thanks for asking around - we'll provide transportation!

3. Can't help with a home but
have you thought about the SPCA or another group in Philly called (I think) PAWS. I remember reading a story that they opened a place in center city. I have my own little stray that I took in last year after I saw a car coming down my street, slow down, open a door and out dropped the cat. Then the car took off. She didn't have front claws so I knew she wouldn't be able to defend herself. Took her in, named her Miss Kitty. Good luck.
