I think I am your neighbor. I'm on 40th near Penn. I really admired an ode to PGH you wrote a while back. I will most definitely get myself to the glass center to see your show. Will you be there in person the whole time? Did you happen to know a stained glass artist named Paula Siciliano? She passed away a couple years ago. I own what she considered her life's masterpiece; I bet you'd love to see it.

Please don't worry that I'm a crazy stalker! I'm a 50y.o. woman. My real name is Dianne. I am married (sort of) to "one of them" and am (sort of) technically inept so that, in a nutshell, is why I lurked without being able to post. I just thought Pat Riot was like the coolest name I ever thought up. I think of it as a rebuttal to that "if you're not with us you're against us" shit, plus the idea that the true patriots maybe ought to riot if they stole another election.

I don't know what the deleted message said, but I thought it might have been someone who thought that.

I'll be at the Glass Center tomorrow; I'll introduce myself. You'll see.

14. saw it, loved it

You weren't there, but I gave myself the tour. Stunning the way the gallery is set up, the way you have to go through that cloth tunnel to start, the way the pieces are backlit. The website is intriguing but couldn't fully do justice - I guess it's always like that.

On the website, my favorite was 4rth from the end. In person, some of the less colorful, winter scenes really grabbed me. Something about the restraint of not trying to use every crayon in the box.
