Critz entry into the race desperate attempt ?

Aside from Singel selling himself as "healthy cholesterol", reminding me of Obama's "lipstick on
a pig comment"... interesting post on Mark Critz's attempt to pull an inside straight from the Post Gazette.
If your first thought was... Who's Mark Critz?... you aren't alone. Looks like a desperate last minute bid and
there are some grumblings:

Its easy to lose sight of the objective intangibles for selecting the best candidate for the special and general when
there is personal motive involved. Good thing there's lots of candidates to choose from.
What remains sad and to be seen, is the fact that the county chairs may not do whats in the best interest
of the 12th district, perhaps based on personal relationships and false promises based on Murtha
having past Seniority in Washington. Thus, on personal dealing, they could select a lesser competitive candidate and lose
the special, but win the general. That (seniority) is all gone now, and anyone that thinks otherwise... id seriously
question their political intelligence.

Voters will not stand for it in the general, which fortunately for the people of the 12th is on the same day!

I heard two more candidates will be entering the race soon. However, the more the merrier :) Stay tuned!
