Twp. Supervisor Casts Deciding Vote to Allow His Own Business to Become a Strip Club

The above article with a good video link describes what is happening in a township in the Poconos, Middle Smithfield Twp. One of the Supervisors has been pushing to allow strip clubs in about 20% of the township, including where his own bar is located. Reportedly, he actively marketed it as a strip club location last year. He has previously said that pole dancing is "good exercise."

There was a tie vote on the law. The ethically-challenged supervisor was then allowed to break the tie.

At the same time he was proposing to greatly expand the land areas allowing strip clubs and casinos, he also was proposing to greatly reduce the areas where churches are allowed.

These supervisors have also dissolved the township sewage authority and parks commission, and fired many long-time dedicated township employees, and bought a private golf course, so they can put their best buddies in those jobs.
