Wow. I wouldn't be surprised if this ad alone gives it to Sestak. Absolutely devastating.

1. The part with Bush is, indeed, a good reminder to Democrats.

However, that quote from Specter sounds very much taken out of context. I'll try and look it up, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out that he was actually saying something like "There are some who think that my change in party will enable me to be re-elected." If anyone can prove one way or another which it is, I'd be happy to know.

2. Specter was very blatant at the time, that the reason he switched

was because he wouldn't be able to beat Toomey in the GOP primary.

I don't recall that exact moment but if it's 'taken out of context', it's not by much.
