Richard Mellon Scaifes wingnut snot rag Trib endorses Sestak, Specter gets all credible papers
1) The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is owned by Richard Mellon Scaife.

2) Scaife funded the Arkansas Project that led to Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial.

3) Scaife is a long time supporter of the Club for Growth of which Pat Toomey was President.

4) Scaife has contributed large sums to the Republican National Committee and Rick Santorum’s campaigns.

5) In 2008, Scaife contributed $35,000 to the Republican Federal Committee of PA.

6) Scaife contributed $2,100 to Curt Weldon’s 2006 campaign.

7) In May 2009, Richard Mellon Scaife donated $4,800 to the campaign of Pat Toomey.

8) In June 2009, Richard Mellon Scaife donated $4,800 to the campaign of Joe Sestak.

Why is one of the most dedicated, hard-core, right-wing, big money contributors of the Republican party making his one and only Democratic contribution to Joe Sestak in the maximum allowed amount?

(because a vote for Sestak is a vote for Toomey)

Specter got the Daily News, Post Gazette, and Philly Inquirer!

2. ummmm.... are you implying the Trib is unbiased
Likely a shill from Delco for No Show Joe. You can round up
Dick Scaife and help pack his office up the day after the election.

Trib endorsing a dem isn't much to be proud of....

3. Shill comment not based on the article, but rather
based on your comment about a vote for Sestak being a vote for Toomey.
I used to live in Sestak's district.
I don't now.
I have no connection to him other than voting for him.

4. The Tribune Review has always been Scaife's soap box.
There is not a day that goes by that does this paper does not call out Democrats as beeing either. 1. stupid, 2. looney 3. crooked.

And, you have to wonder why they would endorse Sestak over Specter? Well one point may be that Scaife has contributed a lot of money to Sestak and Scaife has a real vendetta against Specter-unhealthy even.
When the Trib endorces anyone I run in the other dirrection.
And, you are correct, Specter has the endorsment of all the major legitimate papers in PA.
Of course, the Sestak supporters will claim this is due to a big PA insider politics deal and Sestak will confirm saying he has been told so, but refuses to name names.
