Would you trust Arlen enough to buy a used car from him?
Edited on Sun May-16-10 08:01 AM by howaboutme
Would he tell you anything just to sell the car? Would he be truthful in how well it was maintained? Would he roll back the mileage to ensure it could be sold easier and at a higher price. Would he tell you it was wrecked and repainted? Would he tell you the truth about the health of the vehicle if it would harm his chances?

You decide on that analogy and then decide if you want to give him another 6 years.

1. No.
How do we know he won't jump back to the GOP if he gets re-elected. There is only one Real Democrat running for Senator and that's Joe Sestak!

2. I don't like either one - I have changed my mind on this one several times now...
all I know is I really hate Toomey and don't want him in the Senate. I certainly will vote, but I need more information till I make my decision.

I am going to vote for Joe Hoeffel for Governor, though.

4. Arlen supports privatizing social security, flat tax, eliminating estate tax
yet doesn't want to admit to spending reductions on anything significant.

Meanwhile, I just got an email reminding us that Sestak and Hoeffel are the choices of a Delaware County Progressive Dems group ... considering he is our Congressman and we should know, if he was a 'conservadem' as some pro-Specter posters here have claimed, why would a Progressive group who knows him well, endorse him?

I have decided to vote Hoeffel also. The rest are truly horrible choices, the more I learn about them. If Specter somehow pulls out this primary, I will not have much to vote for in November, I'm afraid. (But I WILL vote against Toomey, you can be sure of that.)

5. Looked up Sestak's voting record online (link) and he is not as bad as I understood..
His record -and everyone elses in congress - is available here:

Re; PA Governor - all others but Hoeffel really ARE terrible and I hope we can persuade a lot of people here to vote for Joe...
