The Southwest Pennsylvania Taxed Enough Already or TEA Party returns this weekend to Bushy Run Battlefield in Penn Township.
After two events at nearby Greensburg-Jeannette Regional Airport, local organizers of the national TEA Party movement return to the French & Indian War battlefield Saturday.
"(Bushy Run personnel) hesitated to have us come in the spring because of the rains," TEA Party volunteer Don Thomson said. "Some folks from Bushy Run contacted us and said they'd like us to come back."
To mark the ninth anniversary of terrorist attacks on New York, Washington and Shanksville, Patrick Coltura will sing his version of "Sweet Land of Liberty."
Gates open at 11 a.m.; a program is to begin at 1 p.m. Speakers will include Dr. Grace Vuoto of the Edmund Burke Institute, Dr. Brad Watson of St. Vincent College and talk show host Rusty Humphries.
