The Heinz Farm on Monday, September 27th: Fundraiser for Joe Sestak, U.S. Senate Campaign
Dear ALEXANDER,

Senator John Kerry and Teresa Heinz are hosting a fundraiser for me at their home to show their support and raise funds for my U.S. Senate campaign. I hope you can attend. The reception will be held at Rosemont Farm in Fox Chapel on Monday evening, September 27th (the invitation is below). This is our last event in the Pittsburgh area before the end of the quarter! Please support me now.

Please join us in supporting this event to show the direction you want the nation to head. We have faced an onslaught of negative television ads and we need your support to get our message out across the state of Pennsylvania.

My opponent, arch-conservative Republican Pat Toomey, is a former 3-term Congressman and "Washington and Wall Street insider." He was President of Club for Growth whose mission is to purge moderates from his party. Endorsed by the Tea Party, if Congressman Toomey were elected to the U.S. Senate, he would be the second most conservative Senator.

We've all read about the national political climate, but with less than six weeks remaining until Election Day, our race is in a dead heat -- with over a third of the electorate undecided!

We are at the most crucial time in this race ... and we need your immediate help ... to reach the remaining one-third of the electorate, who are undecided! The FALL CAMPAIGN HAS COMMENCED ... WE ARE GOING ON THE OFFENSIVE!

If you are not able to attend, I would be most appreciative of your making a contribution now, as we face the end of our fundraising quarter on September 30th. Checks are made payable to "Sestak For Senate" and mailed to Sestak For Senate; P.O. Box 1936; Media, PA 19063 or made online: Please copy and paste the following: http://www.actblue.com/page/sestakeventsept272010

Please forward this invitation to others who may be interested.

Thank you for consideration and support!

Warmly,
Joe

Senator John Kerry and Teresa Heinz

Christopher and Sasha Heinz

I even wish I could attend, but it is too much for my pocketbook right now. It is good of the Kerry's to do this I am sure Sestak could really use the money in his campaign against Toomey.
Oh, and I bet Mr. Richard Mellon Scaife is fumming,LOL.

3. Thanks for thinking of me.
I wish I could go. I know these things are never advertised far in advance but if I'd known sooner I might have been able to manage it and I sure as heck would've tried.

Anyway I expect it will be a wonderful event. I hope JK comes to Philly before the election. With my luck though, he'll come the week I have to be out of town for work. Ah well, that's life. :)

4. I was over the top a couple of months ago,and I am sorry.
I have a difficult time putting things into perspective sometimes.

The Pittsburgh metro area is about 45 minutes from where I live, if you are ever stuck for a place to stay for an event like the one the Kerry's are holding, you are welcome to stay at my home.

6. It is unfortunate that you can not get a ticket after all of your hard work.
You deserve to get in for free.

7. not the $ - actually I just can't get off from work
I am already close to maxed out on contributions to Sestak for the GE.

I am super busy at work right now but have also had to take some vacation for personal reasons. I just can't take this Mon-Tues off on such short notice. :(

(but when I made my last large donation I said hey, if Kerry comes here, I want this to count, and they said don't worry, you'll be covered. :) )
