and please vote for Judy Schwenk. Her GOP opponent has used a smear campaign of complete lies, and has large amounts of cash behind him for TV ads. Judy has created thousands of jobs and we KNOW what the republicans record is like with working people...I can not stand teh National Democratic Party any longer, but the local people are still working in our interest and I urge everyone to vote for Judy Schwenk Tuesday.

Schwank formerly was a Berks County Commissioner and did a lot of good for our area.
Democrats hold a sizable majority in Berks County, but special elections are noted for poor turnout, which favors republicans...

This election has some national attention as an indicator determining whether the "drift to the right" in US politics is continuing or if the 2010 election was a "normal" reaction to the huge Democratic vote in 2008.

The late Mike Opake-Democrat-died in surgery some weeks ago was elected in 1972, and reelected 9 times. His seat is in contest.

I strongly urge EVERY Democratic voter who can vote in this election to please do so-it it very important. We certainly do not need any more republicans in PA politics, especially a RW liar like Larry Medaglia.
