Tom Corbett Sued After Ending Adult Basic Insurance

"HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Three people who were covered by the state-run adultBasic health care plan that ended two weeks ago are seeking a court order to force Pennsylvania to continue funding the program immediately."

"They are done. They are bare. They have no insurance," said the plaintiffs' lawyer, Bill Caroselli.

"The lawsuit filed Monday in Commonwealth Court names Gov. Tom Corbett and top lawmakers."

3. I am not to much worse off, at least I hope not- we sent a check to Blue Cross

which they cashed, but I have heard nothing from them since then...It is coverage for a minimum number od doctor visits per year, and hospitilization and nothing else, but it is still better than nothing- and unaffordable for many people who were on the waiting list for Adult Basic...

Corbett is also cutting preseciptiomn drug coverage for those on Medicaid as well as cutting funds for that entire program, too.
