Buyer's Remorse Hits PA
A recent poll by Public Policy Polling of NC finds that, like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ohio, PA folk are rethinking their choice of Governor:

Just makes me want to slap some Corbett voters upside the head.

1. I would join you slapping them upside the head, but it would be
really tiring. There were a lot of Corbett voters out there. WTF. What were they thinking? If I ever saw a candidate who was up front about just what he intended to do, it was Corbett. He was so rabid that I was in a state of shock when he won. Now these same voters regret it! Thanks bunches. We don't have any recourse, all we can do is take it up the backside. No recall procedure in PA.

2. I would like to do the same to any teachers who voted for him.
PSEA sent out tons of literature on the candidates. One of our members said they should furlough those teachers (who voted for him) FIRST! I agree!

6. I would like to assist with the head-slapping, but

I don't know any Corbett voters. I live in the city, where everyone is reasonable and sane and doesn't vote for Republican crazy people.

I just fucking love how the rural morons of this state (we call that area "Pennsyltucky") get to override everyone else with their votes and now we all have to pay the price for their stupidity. :grr: I want Pittsburgh and Philly to secede from the state and leave the "Pennsyltuckians" to deal with their own fucking mess and their stupid fucking Repuke governor THEY elected.

7. I live in Pennsyltucky, please don't make me deal with the mess
alone! Actually, I live in a strong union, Democrat area, but all around us are the redneck Repugs. So if you want to slap a few Corbett voters, I can find them here. You are lucky to be where you don't know any.

3. The problem was with people who stayed home
I think the problem was less with people who voted for Corbett, than with the Democrats who stayed home.

4. True..... I still think that Jack Wagner should have been our candidate.
People had Rendell-fatigue and Onorato was just too close to Fast Eddie. I knew we would end up with Corbett when Onorato got the nomination.

5. I agree.
I just don't think Onorato was a strong enough candidate. Corbett may have won anyhow because of the "Republican sweep" in 2010, but it may have been a much closer race.

It didn't help that the Post Gazette endorsed Corbett, either!

9. What judicial seats does this include?
I'm not very well-versed on PA's court system.

Thanks.
