The link is to an episode of the Simpsons when the Springfield Elementary School expects to get rich by drilling underground. Then, Mr. Burns forms the "Burns Slant Drilling Company" to drill under the School to steal all the energy. The drilling causes subsidence that destroys much of the town and releases tens of different types of toxic gases.

John Micek, a reporter for the Morning Call who covers State government, said that he heard that Corbett will be addressing
a summit of the oil and gas industry. He wrote "Oddly, we seem not to have received a media advisory for this event."
