Governor Corbett sent a warm message to government workers yesterday:

However, in the interests of transparency and full disclosure, I felt some changes were required. Here's my version:




Dear Toadie:

Thank you for your dedication, hard work and commitment to the corporate interests I represent.

As we begin a new administration, I look forward to using you to serve my rich friends. These have been extraordinary times, yet you have continued to devote yourself to public service. This must stop! I appreciate your understanding and resolve to meet my needs. You set the bar high for gullibility.

On behalf of Chesapeake Energy, Range Resources, Chevron, and my other corporate buddies, it is with my personal gratitude and pleasure that we recognize you, our corporate tools. You are both admired and appreciated as we work together to make the rich richer during these challenging times.

The attached proclamation is a completely bogus and transparent PR stunt.
