The Milton Hershey School Molestation Scandal - It Could Have Been Stopped 10 years earlier

Another PA. child molestation scandal received much less coverage. That involved Charles Koons, who lived during periods of time on the Milton Hershey School campus with his mother and molested many children. A credible report by a parent and attorney was provided to the School Staff and the Derry Twp. Police, but with very little follow-up. The guy then went on to molest other children over the next 10 years until he was eventually caught by a sharp-eyed detective from neighboring Middletown Borough, PA.

The molester was just sent off to a long prison sentence, and the Milton Hershey School paid off millions to some of the victims.
