"Does He Listen To Himself?
Governor Corbett just doesn’t get it. He went on Pennsylvania’s Newsmakers yesterday and host G. Terry Madonna started by asking the Guv to talk about the major issues he’s faced and his accomplishments so far as Governor. They included “had a nice
party, at night time,” had back surgery, adopted puppies, and announced his positions on education and Marcellus shale (but didn’t pass anything). “And then we have Penn State (chuckles).”
Go watch the video. He’s the only one in the country who thinks this is funny. But don’t worry; he understands the gravity of the situation. “You want to get the person off the street as quickly as you can, there’s no reason to delay it. There’s certainly no political reason, for me, to delay it.” Then why only assign one state trooper to the case and investigate it with a method you admit in the interview only met a couple times a month?"

Corbett had a credible sex abuse victim and his mother filing a police report almost 3 years before Sandusky was arrested. The county district attorney properly turned over all responsibility to Corbett for the investigation and charges, because the DA had a family connection to Sandusky. Corbett could have filed criminal charges on that case, and then other victims would have been encouraged to come forward. Instead, he kept the investigation secret, and few people who were around Sandusky knew to be worried about him. Certainly the kids attending the elementary school right next to Sandusky's house didn't know to be worried.
Why did Corbett not move quicker? Was it because Corbett was more concerned about building a case against Penn State administrators than making sure that additional children did not become victimized?
