Little Dick Santorum to address Catholics in Pittsburgh
Edited on Sat Jan-08-05 08:42 PM by chemenger
"Faithful citizenship calls Catholics to see civic and political responsibilities through the eyes of faith and to bring our moral convictions to public life."

"Senator Rick Santorum will address how Catholics in public life have a particular responsibility to bring together consistently their faith, moral principles, and public responsibilities. Senator Santorum has served in the US Senate since 1995 and directs the communications operations of Senate Republicans. We invite you to join us for this presentation entitled 'Taking the Heat,' to be held at Saint Paul's Seminary (Crafton/Greentree area)Auditorium, Tuesday, January 11th at 7:30 PM. Continuing education and Act 48 credits are available for priests, deacons, catechists, and Catholic schoolteachers. The lecture is free, bring a friend -- all are welcome to attend."

Here we go ... as if Santorum's efforts on K Street aren't enough now he's on a crusade to convert catholics to the Repuke party line.

1. Faith
As a FAITHFULL Catholic, is Santorum going to try to BAN DIVORCE, BIRTH CONTROL, AND THE DEATH PENALTY too? Don't hear him calling for the end of the war in Iraq. POPE called that IMMORAL too.

2. Abortion, homosexual relationships, bestiaility definitely.
Birth control probably. But killing adults whether as capital punishment or as a result of an immoral and illegal war pursued by a neo-conservative controlled administration ... Hell no!

4. That always gets me...
But I guess for "true" people of faith...anything and everything can be done in the name of God and Jesus, even if it directly opposes the teachings of God and Jesus.

6. pRick told a priest that he was more of a cathoic than the priest
and a friend of mine was present to listen in to this exchange.

I am waiting for the scandal that will bring pRick down...it will be glorious

8. Wow...
He probably considers himself above actually going to church. Just like his kids are above actually going to school.

Probably the Catholic Answers' 5 "nonnegotable issues" (abortion, stem cells, gay marriage, euthansia, and cloning).
