Here's a sad underbelly part though. The voters are more so than their elected officially. Only 20% of our members in the general assembly support pro-choice. Yet, two-thirds of RI'ers do support choice. If Roe v. Wade is overturned, our state constitution forbids terminated pregnancies. Then again, earlier this week our esteemed members on our hill proposed a tax break for the richest 1% of Rhode Islanders which would reduce our state funds by another $10 to $20 million, already $200 million in the hole for the budgeted year. Arrgghhhh!

We need new leadership in RI.
