Dan Gordon (R-Portsmouth, Tiverton, Little Compton) walked out of Fall River District Court at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Monday on $1,000 bail stemming from an outstanding warrant for being a fugitive from justice in Massachusetts. He is set to appear on Monday, Oct. 17, for a status hearing with legal counsel.
Gordon was seen leaving the Fall River Judiciary Complex in street clothes, the same worn during his arraignment in Providence earlier that morning. He refused comments from members of the media unless it was pertaining to legislation he is working on.
On Monday, Gordon, 42, of 35 Allan Ave., Portsmouth, waived his appearance in district court to Judge Kevin Finnerty and the cash bail was imposed.
