Touch-screen ballots to be ready in 2006

South Dakota polling places will offer touch-screen balloting in 2006 for disabled voters and those who would rather use a computer than paper and pencil.

The state will spend $5 million in federal money to buy the machines in compliance with the Help America Vote Act after first addressing county auditors' concerns about a paperless system.

1. Well, you'd better get BUSY
STOPPING THIS. Make it an issue in your community. Start with the county you are in. Get documentation from Bev Harris at blackboxvoting.org and VerifiedVoting.org. You have two years to stop this.

2. Here are the non Corporate Counties in South Dakota
Paper Ballots only--

Buffalo County
Campbell
Clark
Corson
Day
Dewey
Faulk
Haakon
Harding
Hyde
Jones
Marshall
Potter
Sully
Walworth
Ziebach

That's 16 counties! Great!

The other 50 counties are:
ES and S-- Chuck Hagels' company
Optech (Optical scan)

So roughly 25% of our counties are still with paper ballots--non corporate counting of the votes!

Here's how we can paint South Dakota Ultra-Blue!

After the election, I decided to change things. I decided we needed to have our own elections-- 6 times a year!

Check out UDO!

Let's start a state wide UDO (Ultra Democratic organization)--
