After ensuring his place on the ballot, raising money and beginning to campaign, Sen. David Fowler (R) abruptly withdrew from the race. Rep. Chris Clem (R) and infuriating as Fowler isn't running again either. (The local scuttlebutt is that although they both denied being involved in the TN Waltz that they are involved, but nothing concrete yet).
GOOD NEWS: Former Chairman of the NTSB, Jim Hall is running for the State Senate seat being vacated by Fowler. He picked up his qualifying papers and I had the privilege of signing his petition at the grand opening of our new headquarters (www.hamdems.org).
Bill Lusk is running for the seat being vacated by Clem.
YEA!!!!!
