Breaking Big News: Ford Leads In New Poll
From the Ford Report

http://haroldfordjr2006.blogspot.com/

The race for U.S. Senate is tied, with Harold Ford, Jr. leading Republican nominee Bob Corker by 2%.

This represents a significant improvement in the Ford/Corker match-up from previous internal public opinion surveys conducted in June and it reflects two other changes – Ford’s favorable rating has overtaken that of Corker and support for Governor Bredesen has solidified considerably. Overall, the political climate, including the issues voters say they consider their top priorities, the discontent with the direction of things in Republican-led Washington compared with satisfaction with the direction in Democrat-led Tennessee, and attitudes toward the President, Governor Bredsen and the nominees in the race for U.S. Senate, are all represent advantages for Ford.

2. Huge news
I just saw that poll on Wikipedia. If Ford wins, it is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. I likee. Considering the state in question and likely 50-50 split in the Senate with the other races, this is the single most important election for the Senate foor both parties.

3. Zogby
What about the latest Zogby poll? It shows something different - Corker leading Ford by 4 points

4. Internal polls are usually slanted
The one where Ford leads was an internal poll and they refuse to release the crosstabs.

I prefer to follow the more open polling by unbiassed companies.
We can HOPE tho!

6. I agree, just like TN could have taken the presidency in 2000...
We can't let that happen again. Ford is a good man, we must take control of Senate to get some checks and balances on this regime.

7. On Nov.7,2006 Ford will be our new Senator....
I am a lot less worried today than I was 24 hours ago....I realize this sounds rather vague but this is more than just a hunch....
