The GOP's one-vote majority in the House was expected to make Mumpower the speaker on Jan. 13, but Republican Kent Williams was elected instead in an upset with support from all 49 House Democrats.

At several points, group members expressed their antipathy toward Democrats and Williams, such as when event organizer Tim Skow joked about Williams receiving "flying lessons off the 27th floor deck" outside the meeting room.

Geeze..I just hope that the Tennessee Bureau of Investiagtion is looking into this Nashville First Tuesday group.
