In State House, Another Obama 'Birther' Steps Forward

Pith in the Wind is pleased today to introduce a strong new competitor for our Kook Power Rankings. It's Matthew Hill! Watch out Frank Niceley. Hill wears the clown shoes proudly, and he's not to be denied. A state representative from the hinterlands of northeast Tennessee, he's also the star of various shows on his family's far-right religious radio station. Hill, who once plastered an ultrasound picture of his fetus-baby in a campaign flyer, hosts "The Matthew Hill Show" daily, plus another program named "Bible Buddies." Need we say more?



On one show, which we heard courtesy of the radio station's website archives, he welcomed none other than that nutty Russian dentist Orly Taitz, instigator of the crackpot legal action demanding President Obama's birth certificate.

"I never thought we'd actually get to meet you in person," he gushes as Taitz comes on the air with him. "I'm extremely excited to have you on the program."

That's right, Hill thinks Obama's an alien.
