TVA chair says disaster must 'never happen again' (Kingston Coal Ash Spill)
KnoxNews.com/Associated Press

The new chairman of the Tennessee Valley Authority says a massive coal ash spill must never be repeated.

Kentucky banker Mike Duncan held his first meeting as chairman of the federal utility’s board on Thursday in Young Harris, Ga.

The former chairman of the Republican Party says Knoxville-based TVA faces financial challenges from lower electric sales due to the economy and daunting costs to clean up the December coal ash spill at the Kingston Fossil Plant in Tennessee.
