HB3361: Rep. Stacey Campfield to fund organization aiding illegal aliens in East Tennessee
Edited on Sun Jan-31-10 10:02 AM by doeriver
Ah, the irony of it all - Rep. and TNGA Senate candidate Stacey "Luchador" Campfield (R-Knoxville) is now sponsoring a "Catholic Charities of East Tennessee" speciality license plate that would provide 50% of the proceeds from the Campfield license plate to an organization that provides aid and assistance to illegal aliens (and perhaps even Mexican luchadors illegally working) here in East Tennessee:

Rep. Stacey Campfield is busy working up his "nice guy" image for the upcoming 2010 Tennessee election campaign season following his widely reported masked theft of UT Neyland Stadium Section B seating during the October 31, 2009 Halloween football game.

Campfield has also filed another unrelated "let's use the force of state government to beat up on illegal immigrants" bill within the Tennessee House of Representatives:

HB3701 Immigrants

- As introduced, requires all state agencies and political subdivisions to verify eligibility of all individuals 18 years of age or older before providing public benefits by using the federal "systematic alien verification for entitlements" or "SAVE" program, with limited exceptions. Filed for intro. 01/28/2010
