A 1987 Warranty Dead that recently surfaced within the Sullivan County Courthouse at Blountville, Tennessee reveals that early during his real estate career, TNGA Lt. Governor Ron "Give Washington the Boot" Ramsey - along with his wife Cynthia (Syndi) and then Sullivan County construction partners Albert and Brenda Moretz - then sold a small Bluff City, Tennessee lot owned they owned in 1987 to the United States Postal Service for $63,600.

It appears at first reading in the warranty deed that Ramsey picked up this property at a Sullivan County court sale or auction (this bears some further research - if this parcel of land was purchased through a court ordered sale or auction, then which real estate or auction company conducted the sale):

BEING a portion of the same property conveyed to Ronald
L. Ramsey et ux, et al, by deed from Nancy Dixon, Clerk
and Master dated the 13th day of October 1986, and
recorded in the Register's Office for Sullivan County,
Tennessee, in Deed Book 518C, Page 741 to which
reference is here made.

I also need to find out through the Sullivan County Clerk and Master Office as to how much Ramsey et al paid for this land in 1987...
