And I met the lawyer who publishes http://theredstate.com/">this blog, and I met an actress who had a minor credit in "Office Space" -- yes, that one -- and some other cool kidz.

They have some connections that lead them to believe that they can get the Kinkster to come speak at one of their meetings. As well as Chris Bell (separately). But they're not a big enough organization to have the clout to pull it off by themselves. So I was thinking...

..what if our little H-Town DU Meetup, along with maybe the West Houston Dem Club (Mary, Lyn?) or BAND (johncoby?) joined forces to get a good crowd together for either or both of these gubernatorial candidates?

We could probably get the corporate media to come...

but I'd give it some time. Right now Chris has some very important family health issues he's dealing with and trying to cover everything he can. He should have a lot of time come summer.

He's getting around a lot now, but to have a meeting that's scheduled specifically for him, puts some pressure there.
