Hey Houston DUers...I'll be there Feb 28 and March 1

Looks like I'm traveling for work and will be staying over in Houston those two night. Slutticus suggested maybe some of you guys would like to get together and maybe do dinner and hangout one of those nights.

I should know exactly where I'm staying sometime tomorrow so I'll know which end of town I'm gonna be on.

However, we're leaving very early the morning of March 1 to go to Austin (!) for Planned Parenthood's Lobby Day.

So let's do something Monday night the 28th. (There's a Houston MoveOn Meetup over in the Heights, but we don't have to do that necessarily...)

4. An update

I found out where I'm staying. I'll be at the Hilton Garden Inn at 6855 S. Sam Houston Parkway. I hope y'all know where that's at because I have NO idea. :)

Seriously, if anyone has any ideas about what's near there...I'm all ears.

not sushi and not Asian unless someone has been to the place before and KNOWS they don't have msg in the food (I'm allergic and it makes me really hyper and then really sick).

Mexican is always good. So is Cajun, seafood, or Italian. Or home-cooking. Or greasy burgers. :) I'm fairly easy. Mostly I just want someplace with a bar. ;)

It's at least 45 minutes out there for us. Maybe an hour at rush hour.

And because we have to be on the PP bus at 6:45 the following morning we just can't be out that late. We're old people here...

I have class tonight, and was going to sneak out at 6:30, figuring I wouldn't be *too* late to hang out. But if you're starting earlier than usual, I may not make it in time. I'd cut class completely, but I already missed twice from being sick once, and from tgoing to the Jazz Funeral. So, if I skip again, it starts affecting my grade.

I don't mind being fashionably late, as long as y'all will still be hanging out by 7:30 so it'll be worthwhile for me to try to make it.
