3. District 19...Neugebauer. I thought I knew 'til I read his webpage.
See what I mean? :eyes:

Social Security

It has been promised to people we’re going to get it to them. If there is a more effective way to get it to people HR 743 was passed before I came to office. It is expected to save over 10 years $655 million for the Social Security System.

5. Same boat here
The only thing Lamar Smith wants to do with Social Security, is use the card as a National ID Card. The guy is extremely paranoid about immigration.

AARP gives him a zero rating on senior's issues.

He signed the "Contract for America" or as it really should be known
"Contract on America"

6. Kevin Brady--8th District (SE)
had town hall meetings this week.

He presented Bush's plan and when the weaknesses were pointed out, he was clever in turning the conversation to "well, what is your idea that is better?" Silly me, I thought he's on the payroll to figure out those things.

The Dems were out in unusual force, and with the exception of a few inappropriate rants, presented alternatives pretty well.
