1. Yes!!!
A real Democrat instead of a faux one, and an election thief to boot.

2. I love Richard Raymond!
And I will send him money. DG, have you seen the StepUpTexas web site?

In fact I endorsed him and put up a comment about him in this very race. If you haven't signed up for an account at StepUpTexas go do that when you can. It's all about pledging to work and support candidates you endorse.

Great for Richard and great for the citizens of Dist 28!

Congressman Raymond, District 28 has a really sweet ring to it.

11. don't worry about the $$ fsc
moral support is just as important as financial support. :) at this point, all I can probably give is my time & I know that's going to be appreciated by the candidate.

richard's got some mighty big guns in his arsenal. :) he wouldn't be jumping in the race if he didn't. :whispers: trust me on this one.

;)

4. So, who's gonna run for his state house seat?
Any prospects there?

7. How about you ThJ?
Is this your State House district by chance? Maybe WolverineDG can give us some ideas. There has to be a good city council member or county commissioner who is just itching to move up. Now is the time to start organizing.

13. I live in Austin...
so I can't run for Raymond's seat.

Plus I prefer remaining behind the scenes rather than out front. It can be pretty dangerous out front. :nuke:

12. I've heard some names bandied about
but nothing for certain yet. I don't want to spill the ones I have heard because of the situation with the local party. It will be interesting to see who does come forward, though.

10. PAWS OFF RICHARD, VELMA D
He's MY representative, MINE ALL MINE.

;)

j/k

I'm really really glad Richard is popular around the state, not just my district. He's a really great guy & a fantastic legislator. If Cuellar wasn't so bad, mebbe we coulda run Richard for governor....ah well.....
