Election Integrity - Voting Rights Meeting - Austin August 2nd

VoteRescue, a newly formed Central Texas Voting Rights group, is hosting a meeting and a call for more coalition building around election integrity issues. Everyone is welcome, groups and individuals alike.

Come meet with others in the Austin Community to discuss election integrity. Help secure you right to vote. Learn about legislation and efforts you can join now, to assure that each and every vote in Austin and in the U.S. is counted accurately.

When: Tuesday August 2, 2005
Time: 6-8 p.m.
Where: Central Market North at the Cafe
Outdoor seating downstairs.

Vinny's Italian Cafe (enclosed patio area)
1003 Barton Springs Road (just east of Lamar)

This meeting will be a planning meeting for lobby efforts focused on Travis County Commissioners Court and the Austin City Council. Our goal is to get a verified voter paper ballot system in Travis county. (i.e. an upgrade to our eSlate system)
