So how are y'all celebrating? I don't think Dallas has anything planned except for a few restaurants holding special dinner events.
L'etat, c'est y'all! (OK, I know that was bad...)

1. With Lance still holding on to "le maillot jaune" |
|
French rider David Moncoutie won the stage. Congratulations to Moncoutie, the French and of course to Lance Armstrong. :toast:
Discovery did have a bit of bad news in that they lost a team rider to a crash. Manuel "Tricky" Beltran is out of this year's tour, although they think we will be OK. Just in the hospital for the night to make sure he really is fine.

2. Well, I had a couple of margaritas |

Which I realize are not technically French but which have left me feeling quite celebratory. Lafayette, nous sommes ici!

3. Well, technically it's not ON Bastille Day |
|
but we purposely chose our anniversaire (le quinze) to coincide with Bastille Day. Sorta.
So we're going semi French (OK, Swiss) and having fondue tomorrow night.
