There is so much "scary" material out there to do a political Halloween. Damn we're working a haunted house here for a non-profit or else I would drive up there and check yours out.

3. I love Halloween

Hey did you know that Tim Burton is coming out with a new movie called "Corpse Bride". It looks a lot like "The Nightmare Before Christmas". Same animation style. Looks really fun.

I have no idea what I'm doing this weekend, much less October 29th, but we would love to get an invite. Hopefully we can keep the date clear and come hang out with a bunch of cool liberals.

I'm gonna try an electronic invite this year instead of the mailouts, which were very elaborate and pricey last time.

This year, cheaper invites, more DUers and better organization! (Last year we had great stone-like wall coverings, but the cat kept ripping them down, and it became a pain). This year, less authentic wall covering, but more fun.

9. It's okay anarchy.

She's just trying to plan for later. I really, really wanted to go to the convention and I really, really want to go to Crawford. I've broken my foot, and I'm having my endocrinologist appt this afternoon. This weekend is shot. Plus, my 10 year old pet budgie just died in my hands. Sorry, I'm just cranky and I'm wishing I felt better. I'm looking forward to feeling better, so I'm hoping I do by October.

Allan is going to be covering the vets this weekend. He's completely gung ho and even has a press pass.

In case you hadn't heard, I was recently diagnosed with MS, so I can't be getting out in the heat, and I exhaust very easily these days. I've sent e-mails to friends about the event, and other than being an armchair warrior for the cause, there's not much else I can do.

Don't be telling me what I should and shouldn't be doing for the vets. You won't like my response.
