Dalai Lama coming to Austin on September 20!

I skipped an opportunity to hear the Dalai Lama speak in 1993 because I was clueless, and I've always regretted it.

Tickets are free, and distribution will begin on September 6.

4pm?! Argh! I might have to take time off from work. I wonder if the campus cable channel is on my local cable tv...

And get your ticket early. History has shown that our campus conservatives like to get as many tickets as they can as early as possible in order to prevent others from attending events where a liberal is headlining.

5. I'm going too

You really have to be there really early on Sept. 6th to get the tickets too. They say they start giving them out at 7:00 a.m. that means there will be a line as early as 5:00 a.m. I'm going to shoot for 6:00 and hope I get two tickets.
