Special request from Linda at the Peace House.

They need gallon jugs of water (cooks' request), they also desperately need large containers for all the flowers being delivered (as simple as large plastic pitchers) and staple guns with staples. Also soft drinks are much appreciated.

3. Expect anarchy

I know that these are all volunteers and the are wonderful for helping out the way they are helping, but. . . It is anarchy at the peace house. No one person knows what is needed, no one person knows what to do with the stuff you bring, no one person knows how to get reimbursed for the stuff they asked you to buy for them. Anarchy may be a great system for some, but I find it very hard to deal with, especially in financial affairs.

I suggest that if you go there, take all the stuff you need for yourself and donate CASH to the peace house. Let them work out what they need as they need it. There are plenty of people with cars there to go get what they need. Just send CASH!
