Just got back from Crawford...

We had a fabulous time. WestHoustonDem and I drove up yesterday morning. It was an amazing time. The organization was phenomenal. Donations poured in for supplies, food, water, ice, etc. It was an incredible atmosphere of positivity and hope, which we can thank Cindy Sheehan for inspiring. No time to give the whole rundown now, but Lyn posted a couple of our pics here:

4. I had a blast....

A couple of friends and I (one recently returned from Iraq) went down on Saturday. The air was electric with hope, love, and support.

I have to say it was the most fufilling experience of my life (at least the first 25 years).

Unfortunately my corporate masters needed me back on Monday, or else I would still be down there.

But my vet buddy, and I will be returning to Crawford this weekend, and I can't freaking wait!!!

Thanks for the reports and pictures. Everyone looked like they had a great time and did some wonderful work supporting Camp Casey. I didn't get away from my conference on Sunday to make it. I really wish I could have.

Kudos to Lisa0825, WestHoustonDem, JohnCoby and all our Houston DUers who made the trip.
