:) this time to drive a shuttle. I will either rent a van (provided I can afford it) or use my own car. If anyone wants to share driving duties, pls let me know & maybe we can split expenses as well (rental--if necessary, gas, hotel room). I tried camping out at Camp Casey 2 last week, broke a tent pole setting up & then heard my inner camper whine "i wanna go to the holiday inn!" ;)

You Texas DUers are the greatest!!!

I met a family physician who called the PH and asked what she could bring. They told her a van to shuttle. She did, but then when we found out she was a doc asked her to handle the Medic tent starting Monday since PuraVidaDreamin was leaving.

Maria's van is now being used as a cooling van for those who are affected by the heat. You can find her there through Thursday. If you stop by the tent, say hello from us.

And people are camping at CC11.

and we all know how well they went last week :rofl: :
--leave laredo at some point (preferably noon) on Friday & arrive in waco about 7ish (depending on traffic & if i stop somewhere for dinner). Not sure if I'll make it out to Crawford Friday evening, just depends on when I get there.

--show up in Crawford between 8 & 9 am on Saturday, drive as long as I feel like it, probably more in the afternoon & evening when drivers & shuttles were really hard to come by, go back to waco & pass out in hotel room; how was the best western? the HI express was $80+taxes, nice room, free brekkie.

--show up in Crawford between 8 & 9 am on Sunday, drive as long as needed, participate in some events, go back to hotel & pass out.

--go home monday morning :)

7. I wouldn't recommend the Best Western

About the same price as HI, but the bathroom sucked as did the breakfast.

Maybe I'll see you there this weekend. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to get up there for.

i've got room for 3 in the hotel, if you guys want to bunk overnight & split the rate. i do advise getting your reservations in tho as the prices have gone way up this weekend (baylor kids coming back, plus i think the locals are starting to realize they can cash in on what's happening in crawford).
