It's religious but not going to edit it
Dear Members and Friends of Christ The King Church,
I want to make you aware of some very pressing needs for people and opportunities to give the cup of cold water in Jesus' name.
In our city of Longview here we have need right now of food, clothing, diapers, water, and other things for the people who have been streaming into our area. I have spoken with the Hospitals and major relief agencies in the area and here is how you can help:
The city of Longview and the Red Cross coordinating efforts to provide shelter and necessities at Maud Cobb Convention Center in Longview. They need there:
* New Blankets
* pillows
* toiletries
* water
* packaged cookies or snacks.
Directions to Maude Cobb Activity Center
From I-20, exit Eastman Rd., travel North to Cotton St., turn left (West) and travel to Grand Blvd., turn left into the Maude Cobb Activity Complex.
Also from I-20, exit Estes Parkway, travel north to Cotton St. as Estes Parkway turns into High St., turn left (West) and travel to Grand Blvd., turn left into the Maude Cobb Activity Complex.

Longview, TX 75601
0.6 mi N- Directions
Buckner's needs are:
* Hygene items,
* clothing for children and adults,
* diapers,
* baby bottles,
* underwear, and socks.
I have spoken with hotels in the area and there are no rooms for hundreds of miles. People are just driving around in their cars looking for places to stay.
My wife has already made one run this morning to WalMart and Sams. She said that people are everywhere here, just sitting in their cars in parking lots, wandering around in the library, with no where to go. Should you be of a mind to do so, the local truck stops would also be a place to instantly find people who are in need if you would like to provide them housing.
These are pressing needs. If you would like to donate items but are unable to go drop them off at these places we are happy to go to Sams and buy things and deliver them for you directly. Just let us know how much to spend and you can reimburse the Church.
For Christ,
Phil Hodson
P.S. Please make others aware of these needs as well. You have been told and God's ball is in your court.

"He prays, but He hears prayer. He weeps, but He causes tears to cease. He is bruised and wounded, but He heals every disease and every infirmity. He is lifted up and nailed to the Tree, but by the Tree of Life He restores us, yes, He saved even the robber crucified with Him. He dies, but He gives life, and by His death destroys death. He is buried, but He rises again; He goes down to Hell, but He brings up the souls; He ascends to heaven, and shall come again to judge the living and the dead"
