1. Something weird here

IMO. Amarillo was setting up the convention center to house 750. Got a plane in yesterday with 150. Hubby says tonight local news critters say that's all we will get. :shrug: I know we can do better than that. Here's what concerns me: the Astrodome in Houston is getting WAY over-crowded. Someone trying to set up another NOLA Superdome or convention center situation?

2. I just got word today that 15-20,000 people are being shipped

from Texas to Denver to be housed at Lowry AFB. So I think they're moving people around the country to spread it out more. The Texas citizenry has been more than generous in providing relief. So perhaps whoever is organizing this is thinking they have to spread the wealth, so to speak. Amarillo may not be getting as many people as they could because they're moving people to other states.

see what she is up to. got into town monday. man, the stuff we have gotten today. trying to see where best to take it. i thought we would have more than 150. was hoping some could be used here. maybe they need it in denver.
that is my goal tomorrow. to find where i can deposit this stuff once organized and boxed
