Subject: How much help do you need?
Hi,
I have you in the data base as needing help to go to the Washington anti-war march 9/24/05. We have a little bit of money and would like to allocate it right away because there is a special discount rate of $169 on American Airlines.
How much do you need to make this trip?
Please don't come back at me with a question. I'm not organizing hotels, food, roommates, pet care, or anything else. just send the amount of money you need. Quick.

Subject: update on 9/24
As of Sunday, we have 80 North Texans showing interest in September 24. Only 12 have airline tickets, and ground transportation is not much cheaper. www.expedia.com <
http://www.expedia.com> still has airplane tickets listed for $289.
After the reception tomorrow evening, we will have to make commitments with whatever money has come in. My orientation would be to allocate the funds with only one goal -- maximum participation in the DC march. We're still waiting for the national organizers to tell us the Texas rendezvous point, and they still say they will. We'll need a giant banner and individual signs with "Texas" included somewhere.
Send tax deductible donations to the DPC at 4301 Bryan # 202, Dallas, TX 75204-8147. Mark checks "For DC" unless you prefer your donation go into the DPC's general fund. We are also looking for vehicles that can make the 25-hour trip to DC.
Those who would like to go can send their information to the DPC or to me. Include contact info, special travel needs, and whether or not you have the estimated $200 travel money for ground transportation. If you have less than, $200, include the amount you have. Planning meetings occur each Tuesday evening at 7 PM at the DPC; all are welcome.
Love & solidarity
Gene
