What will the kick off reception be like tonight?

Thanks to those who provided info for dress at the reception.

I'm trying to decide rather or not to go to the reception. What exactly will the reception be like? (in other words - what will be done there?) Is it worth going to?

Sorry about the stupid questions, but I've never been to a convention before.

1. I have never been either. I am not going to the kickoff, but I am going

to the Hyatt bar and to the Aquarium party. The kickoff is $50, and I have other things to spend that money on!:-)

Why don't you meet us in the Hyatt's lobby bar around 8 - 8:30? You don't have to dress up and admission is free...;)
