Hotel reservations made...We're outta here Thursday morning

We're going to Kansas...Don't know if my trailer will be here when it's over, but we're moving important stuff to the in-laws (at least it's a brick house), and kids, cats, and bird will be loaded up Thursday morning.

I will try to be in touch with DUers for whom I have phone numbers, but my computer won't be making the trip (it's going to the in-laws) and there is no laptop in this house.

My brother just started working for United Airlines, and is going to see about getting my parents a flight out of Houston tomorrow. He's in Chicago right now, in his first week of training.

My trailer being rubble. We'll be stuck with family for a while until we can find another place to rent. That's why we're trying to get as much stuff as we can out.

I have been trying for the past two hours, they all say all their Texas hotels are booked. Good luck to you. Are you driving?

The hotels are still housing Katrina evacuees.

We are driving, both cars. One car will have me, one kid, and three cats, plus whatever else we can carry. The other car will have my husband, one kid, one cockatiel, and more stuff.
