...Hurricane Rita dropped 10 millibars in pressure from 944 to 934 over a 15-minute period. This may well be a king hell willy-nilly by the time it makes landfall.

As of this moment, one of the docs where I work just told me that Rita has now dropped to 923 mbrs. If you are still in the path of Rita, GET OUT NOW.

I'm not willing to lose you guys so soon! Especially you Bay Area Dems, please get out, stay safe. Graphics I've seen put category 4-5 hurricane storm surge into your area. My heart is breaking to think of all you wonderful people in danger. :grouphug:

My one evacuation recommendaton: don't forget to take photo albums. All other stuff can be replaced, but most of your photographic memories cannot be.
