FEMA cancelled its debit card program, and used checks or direct deposit. Only the Red Cross handed out debit cards - and as that money is not from the Government, Poe has no business knowing how it was spent.

military when I engaged in such . . . entertainment . . . I'm pretty sure that most strippers deal on a cash and carry (so to speak) basis. I don't recall ever encountering one that took credit or debit cards.

Of course that was over a decade ago, so times may have changed.

How did they issue the cards? Can one track back to the actual recipient? Or did they just give out the cards willy nilly?

99.99% of the people might be using it in entirely responsible ways, but the .01% of irresponsible use is what they'll use to convince the sheep that things like this are bad. (If it's even true!)

It's just like Santorum with the National Weather Service. They'll have to be perfect now because he's breathing down their necks just waiting for them to not get something right. It doesn't matter if they would get it right 99.99% of the time. The focus will be on the .01% where it was wrong, and he'll use that as an example of why we need private companies to be doing the National Weather Service's work instead. (Even though it's impossible to correctly predict weather 100% of the time.)
