Galveston County DUers... Who all has been to La Brisas in Bacliff?
I thought I might see if I could tempt my fellow Galveston County DUers to meet there one day. Their latest speciality I'm going stupid over is a stuffed avocado they batter and fry. It's heavenly!
My other favorite there is the bacon-wrapped shrimp. Hell, everything there is great, including the frozen Margaritas that will knock your socks off!

1. You could even get a coupla inner-loopers down there
like the Ditties. ;)

Clifton's by the Sea is my favorite out that way. Did it make it through Rita OK?

2. I am happy to report Clifton's by the Sea is okay.
Not sure if they're back open yet. My folks rented a seaside cabin from them in early 1945 when they first came to Texas. I was still in the oven. We ate there a few weeks ago, it is still superb.
